John Sweet... lives in New York with his wife and son. He has been writing for 20 years, and publishing for the last 14. Some of his more recent work can be found in... Sometimes City, No Alibi Press, Stickman Review, and Poetry SuperHighway. A full-length collection is due out in Dec 02 from Ravenna Press. John says, " I have too much education, not enough money, a 12 yr old car and all sorts of anger that gets let out in the form of writing. It seems to help. "

Lita Sorensen... has an M. A. in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of NE-Omaha. She recently finished writing a book, "Great Court Cases: The Scottsboro Boys Trial" for Rosen Press, and is currently working on a collection of poetry, as well as a novel. Her poems have appeared in, Riverstates Review, The Midland, Bits Of Flint, Bovine-Free Wyoming, Poetry Midwest, and The Twin Cities Magazine of Science Fiction And Fantasy. She lives in Iowa City, IA.
Duane Locke: Doctor of Philosophy in English Renaissance literature, Professor Emeritus of the Humanities, was Poet in Residence at the University of Tampa for over 20 years. Has had over 2,000 of his poems published in over 500 print magazines such as American Poetry Review, Nation, Literary Quarterly, Black Moon, and Bitter Oleander.Is author of 14 print books of poetry, the latest being, "Watching Wisteria" ( to order write Vida Publishing, P. O. Box 12665, Lake, Park, FL. 33405-0665, or Amazon or Barnes and Noble ). Since September 1999, he's become a cyber poet, which has resulted in more than 2,295 acceptances by ezines.
September launched, The Duane Locke E book (E)lite book of the month club, with the publication of, "Memoirs Of Damniso Lopez", to be followed by, "Luncheon Duets Or Solipsistic Solioquies Of George Samson" in October. These will be followed by, "Closed Windows"... "Erased Rainbows"... "Dinning Alone"... "Darkness' Footsteps Behind The Stars". And that's not all, you can expect a new Duane Locke book each month. Dr. Locke is also a painter, and photographer. 164 of his photos bless the pages of ezines. He photographs trash in alleys, moving in close to find beauty in what people have thrown away. Joseph Mastropiero says, "Well, if I were to tell you something about my life, there wouldn't be much to tell. I am only 17, and I still haven't experienced enough to captivate an audience with my experiences. I am always trying to grow and absorb. I live in Staten Island, New York with my family. I hope one day to establish myself as a known poet, though I know this will be hard."
Ed Teja... is a writer, musician, and gypsy. He was a technical writer and magazine editor in the U.S. and Hong Kong for several years. Since 1995 he has been a columnist for Caribbean Compass, won (with co-author Derek Miraboli) the King of Redonda Eastern Caribbean Literary Award (2001) for the unpublished book Chatting Up The Chicas, and has published poetry in publications ranging from, ART:MAG to Ellery Queen to Cappers. His first novel, The Legend Of Ron Anejo is due out from Novel Books Inc in March 2003. His second book, Under Low Skies is due out in March 2004.
